Chocolate, Strawberries & Cream Dessert

Have you ever seen those strawberries that are filled with cream and then dipped in chocolate?  They look so good!  I didn't have time to make them so I decided to come up with a dessert that had the same flavor combination without all the work.  This is so simple to put together and it definitely hit the spot!

Ingredients are as follows:

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 ounces cool whip, thawed
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 pack of chocolate cream filled cookies
1 pound strawberries, sliced (my strawberries were big so you may not need all of them)

Directions:

Crush the cookies until a fine crumbly mixture; set aside.

Cream together the cream cheese, cool whip and powdered sugar.

Spread half of the cream cheese mixture onto the bottom of an 8x8" pan.

Sprinkle half of the chocolate crumbs on top.

Arrange a layer of strawberries on top.

Repeat the layers ending with pretty strawberries on top.

Spoon some out and enjoy!
