I love trying new recipes and especially new products. I also like when those new products can make a difference. Sometimes you think that one little change can't make an impact, however every one of our small changes adds up to something big! This time of season it makes us all stop and ponder if there's a way to help others. Thanks to Be Carton Smart there is a simple and economical way to do so! Why not swap out one of your pantry staples for a new CartonSmart product. What is CartonSmart? Take a look...
I love these cartons! They are small, easy to carry, and they take up very little room in my pantry.
Other reasons to love them are:
• They are made of 70% paper.
• They use 1/3 of the packaging compared to cans…or even an egg!
• They're space saving, easy to store and open.
• The unique packaging process preserves the flavor and nutrients of food without the use of preservatives.
• Recycleable and in fact result in 60% less landfill waste than cans
• Plus they're re-closable so you can use what you need and save the rest for later.
Take a look at how small and compact the packaging is:
Organic Chicken Stock
Organic Jellied Cranberry Sauce
Organic Pumpkin Puree
Who wouldn't love to have these in their pantry? I know I do! They are so simple to open, you don't have to worry about getting cut on them and if you don't use the entire carton, all you have to do is close it back up and put it in the fridge until next time. You don't have to cover them and there won't be any metal taste either! The first one I tried was the Organic Pumpkin Puree and it is delicious. I made one of our favorite Thanksgiving desserts...Pumpkin Sheet Cake with Cream cheese Frosting.
It came out wonderful! The puree was so simple to pour into my bowl and all I had to do was rinse out the package and toss it in the recycling bin. I can't wait to try the Cranberry Sauce on Thanksgiving and I'll be sure to use the stock for my gravy. You can buy all your holiday staples in this new packaging from Pacific Foods.
