3 Years Ago....and a giveaway!

Flour Me With Love

Three years ago my littlest one started kindergarten and I was a stay-at-home mom who now (after 14 years) had some time on her hands.  I said about getting a job, but my husband said if we were already making it on one income, we were doing fine, the kids know that I am there "all" the time for them so why disrupt something that is going so well.  I thought so too, but it still made for some lonely days.  So I decided to start a blog, not knowing where it would take me and in three years I couldn't be happier!

I'd like to let you know that I have a new button (up top there).  My son made it and I think it turned out adorable; you can get the code in my sidebar.

Friends from Chicago visiting us here in South Carolina were so "smitten" with it that they rave about it to all their friends and it is rapidly becoming a popular dessert there too.

  81. I am a confirmed Chocoholic but I try to mix up my desserts because not everyone likes chocolate as much as I do. I am usually "tapped" for Dessert because I love to bake and my family and friends are pretty happy with my Dessert Du Jour so I keep them on their toes by trying new recipes OFTEN. My husband is a diabetic so I make Old Fashioned Oatmeal cookies for him using the "sugar blends" and plenty of nuts, raisins, coconut, cranberries, etc. and EVERYONE loves them.
