3 Years Ago....and a giveaway!

Flour Me With Love

Three years ago my littlest one started kindergarten and I was a stay-at-home mom who now (after 14 years) had some time on her hands.  I said about getting a job, but my husband said if we were already making it on one income, we were doing fine, the kids know that I am there "all" the time for them so why disrupt something that is going so well.  I thought so too, but it still made for some lonely days.  So I decided to start a blog, not knowing where it would take me and in three years I couldn't be happier!

I'd like to let you know that I have a new button (up top there).  My son made it and I think it turned out adorable; you can get the code in my sidebar.

I am usually "tapped" for Dessert because I love to bake and my family and friends are pretty happy with my Dessert Du Jour so I keep them on their toes by trying new recipes OFTEN. My husband is a diabetic so I make Old Fashioned Oatmeal cookies for him using the "sugar blends" and plenty of nuts, raisins, coconut, cranberries, etc. and EVERYONE loves them.
