Fozzie Bear Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

http://flourmewithlove.com/
This post is sponsored by Disney and the movie #MuppetsMostWanted.
All opinions and the recipe are my own.

If you're a fan of the Muppets then you're going to love  Muppets Most Wanted!  I've been a big Kermit fan all my life and it's exciting to see my kids enjoy the muppets too...it's fun for the whole family.  We've seen all the movies and the other night we had a family fun night and watched the newest one: Muppets Most Wanted.  If you haven't gotten a chance to see it yet, you're in luck...it's coming out on Blu-ray Combo Pack on August 12th at Disney.com.  It's packed with dozens of guest cameos, new songs (that you'll be singing for days to come!) and the most exclusive scenes not seen in theaters!  It's a great time to sit down with the kids and watch a wonderful movie together.

Ingredients are as follows:

1/4 C butter
1 (10 ounce) bag of marshmallows
2 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
6 C rice krispie cereal

garnishes:

fruit roll-ups
tootsie rolls
good & plenty candy
pink taffy

Directions:

Grease a large cookie sheet.

In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.

Add the marshmallows and peanut butter; stir until melted.

Remove from heat; stir in the cereal and stir until completely coated.

With greased hands, grab a handful and shape it into Fozzie;  place onto cookie sheet.  Continue with the remaining cereal mixture (mine made 10, but I could have had 11 or 12 if I wouldn't have had four kids grabbing it directly from the pan, lol!).

Roll out the tootsie roll and shape into a hat.  Cut off two little pieces of tootsie roll for eyebrows.  Cut a white good & plenty in half and place on for his eyes.  Take two little pieces of tootsie roll and place on top of the white eyes.  Unroll a fruit roll-up, cut two little pieces off and place around the eyes.  Cut a half circle for the mouth.  Roll a small piece of taffy into a circle for his nose.  Roll out a piece for the tongue and make an indentation in the center.  Carefully push everything on so it's secure.

These were a big hit with the kids!

Two Frogs! One Pig! Intrigue! Music! Mayhem! Muppets!
There's plenty of fun for the whole family as Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Animal and the entire Muppets gang head out on a world tour.  But mayhem follows the Muppets, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper.  Now Kermit is behind bars at the mercy of prison warden Nadya (Tina Fey), and the World’s Number One Criminal, Constantine—a dead ringer for Kermit—has taken his place.  As Constantine and his dastardly sidekick Dominic (Ricky Gervais) plot the robbery of the century, they are pursued by Sam Eagle and Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon (Ty Burrell).  Will Constantine get away with his nefarious scheme?  Will Kermit escape in time to save the day?
