Tuesday February 17th is International Pancake Tuesday; "Spread the Happy" and it's the perfect time to make one of our favorite meals. On the weekends I love to make a big breakfast. We all sit down together, talk and enjoy breakfast with each other and catch up on things. The whole family loves pancakes, but when I top them with Nutella® and fruit it seems like I can't make them fast enough!

I make a big batch of pancakes on my electric griddle. Then as soon as I take them off I slather on a little Nutella, sprinkle on some diced strawberries and add a dollop of fresh whipped cream. Aren't they pretty?

Not only are they pretty, they're delicious because the Nutella seeps down into the pancakes adding a layer of deliciousness! Nutella is like happiness in a jar. More than a delicious hazelnut spread, it's part of the morning ritual and a joyful way to start every day. The spread first came to the United States from Italy over 25 years ago. Since then, the delicious spread made of roasted hazelnuts, skim milk and a hint of cocoa has been enjoyed by many to make it the #1 selling hazelnut spread in America. It has no artificial colors or preservatives which I love!
