Thick cream mixed with seasoned apples that are baked into a delicious pie!

Apple Cream Pie with Walnuts Recipe

The other day I was at the store and they had canned apple pie filling on sale for .75 cents and it doesn't even expire soon!  So of course I bought quite a few and I also picked up the new Extra Thick Double Cream from BK Creamery.  A few weeks ago I introduced you to this new cream and so far I've been enjoying it quite often.

The extra thick double cream has 42% milk fat so it whips up perfectly and can be used is a variety of recipes.  I decided to use it in this Apple Cream Pie which made a smooth and creamy center.  The pie is simple to prepare, it bakes up beautifully and (if you can wait long enough) is divine when it's completely cool!

  2. This looks SO good! Apple pie is my favorite! I would have never thought to add the double cream and condensed milk to it, but it sounds so much richer than regular apple pie. Can't wait to try it!

  3. Oh my goodness, this looks so good! Do you know if I use real apples instead of canned apples if the bake time stays the same?

    1. It would require a longer baking time because the apples are raw unlike the canned apples.
