Earlywood Designs for Small Business Saturday #Giveaway

The first-ever Small Business Saturday took place on Nov 27.
It encouraged people across the country to support small, local businesses,
and I am happy to introduce you to a very special one...Earlywood Designs.

As you can see from the picture above, Earlywood Design products are beautiful!  It all started with Brad pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.  Being an artistic guy he found the structured world of mathematics and laws that is engineering to be confining, and I longed for a creative outlet.  It was the search for this outlet that led me to the hardware store where I picked up a chisel and a jigsaw.  Armed with my new tools, I started creating wooden utensils. The totally consuming nature of the spoon shaping process provided me the disconnect that I needed to survive my time in the mechanical engineering program.  On the other hand, it was the critical engineering and design experience I gained that has helped me define the simple, clean and always utilitarian style that sets Earlywood utensils apart from others.  Take a look!

I was asked if I'd like to receive some products to review and do a giveaway as well.  As soon as I saw the website I couldn't wait for them to arrive.  I love how beautiful everything is, it's all made by hand, by one person...Brad.  I can't imagine the time it takes to put that much detail into each and every piece.

I first tried the three piece Trifecta set.  It consists of our favorite sized flat sauté, our super useful scraper, and our favorite spreader. It is our most popular product and you can't go wrong with this combo.  The Trifecta includes three different products and the option to give it in three different woods.

Next are the 4-piece mini cutting boards.  No more dragging out the big, clunky board for those simple tasks.  Each board has a beautiful inlay so you can even use these as serving boards too.

Last, but not least is this beautiful Long Bread Board.  Add one of these handmade cutting boards to your kitchen for a taste of the old world and a hint of modern simplicity.  Inspired by classic bread boards from centuries ago (when breadboards were made for pulling bread from the oven), the Earlywood laminated hardwood full-taper bread/cutting board is as useful as it is beautiful.

All of the products are so pretty and these would make the perfect gift for that someone special in your life.  I used all of mine for the past few weeks, and I'm still coming up with new uses for them.  I even have my bread board hanging on my kitchen wallI am so excited because I have the pleasure of giving a gift pack to one of you.
You'll get the Trifecta Set, the Cutting Boards, and the Bread Board as seen in the pictures above.

Please note:
The giveaway will end December 5th.  The winner will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to respond.  If not, another winner will be chosen.

I was given a sample pack of the products to review, however the opinions expressed are my own.

Congratulations Linda, you are the winner!
