We had tacos one night and I got to thinking about dessert tacos. I know they make ice cream ones at the store, however I wanted to come up with something different. Mission had sent me some of their new super soft flour tortillas and they worked out perfectly! A delicious taco dessert that you can make in a matter of minutes and it requires no baking at all!
Ingredients are as follows:
8 small soft flour tortillas
spray butter, or melted butter
cinnamon and sugar
1 C frozen strawberries, thawed & drained (it will only equal about 1/2 C once thawed)
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 C powdered sugar
1 C cool whip
shredded chocolate
Directions:
Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray; place over medium heat.
Butter one side of the flour tortilla then sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Turn over and do the same to the other side.
Place tortilla into the skillet and cook on each side for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from skillet and carefully place into an inverted mini cupcake pan. Continue with the other ones; allow them to cool and harden.
Cream together the strawberries, cream cheese and powdered sugar.
By hand, fold in the cool whip.
Fill shells with filling.
Sprinkle on some chocolate.
Slice, serve and enjoy!
No way these look amazing!!! I will be trying these for sure.. Yummy
