One of our favorite desserts is Nutella & Cream Cheese Danish. We also love Cream Cheese Blintz Bars...so I decided to combine the two of them and make Nutella & Cream Cheese Blintz Bars! They're quick, easy and taste delicious. I love how something so simple turns out so wonderful!
Ingredients are as follows:
1 loaf of square bread (24 slices)
1/2 C butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2/3 C powdered sugar
1/2 C butter, melted
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2/3 C powdered sugar
4 Tbsp. nutella
1/4 C milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 C milk
1 tsp. vanilla
sugar
cocoa powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees; have a 15.25 x 10.25" cookie sheet ready.
Cut the crust off of the bread.
Cut the crust off of the bread.
With a rolling pin, flatten each piece of bread; set aside.
Brush some melted butter on the cookie sheet and arrange 12 slices of bread on top. Brush a little more melted butter on each slice of bread; set aside.
Cream the cream cheese, powdered sugar, nutella, milk and vanilla together.
Evenly spread on top of the buttered bread.
Arrange the other 12 slices of bread on top of the cream cheese.
Brush the remaining melted butter on top of the bread. Sprinkle with a generous amount of sugar then sift cocoa powder on top.
Bake for 12-15 minutes; until golden brown around the edges.
Take a bite and enjoy!
Looks so yummy! I love the ingredients!
