I am just about finished with a full month of the Wahls Paleo Diet which is all about eating the right foods to keep the body, specifically nerves, functioning at optimally. I decided to try her diet after having my daughter. Right now all the food she gets is from my breast milk. I want to make sure she gets all the nutrition she needs to grow and I'm eating food that will help replenish my body so I'm in optimal shape for our second baby. I'm calling this series of posts about the Wahls Diet: Brain Food.
ReplyDeleteThis week I am sharing a recipe that works with the Wahls Paleo Diet and is delicious for winter: Cabbage Soup: http://foyupdate.blogspot.com/2013/02/brain-food-sauerkraut-and-cabbage-soup.html
As well as 5 strategies I have come up with to eat 9 cups of veggies, 4 oz of protein and no gluten or dairy every day. http://foyupdate.blogspot.com/2013/01/five-strategies-for-wahls-diet.html
