One of our favorite desserts is Apple Pizza because it's an easy recipe to prepare and it tastes delicious too!  My kids could eat it every day, and as much as I would like to let them, I don't.  I decided to come up with an alternative for us to enjoy the delicious taste of fruit pizza, but on the lighter side.

Fluffernutter Brownie Pizza

 

My kids love peanut butter and fluff together...it's a perfect combination even eaten from a spoon.  We were joking about everything they eat it on and they asked if I could come up with a dessert with it.  I actually love peanut butter and fluff together too so I was happy to oblige!  I decided to make some brownies and add a layer of peanut butter cups inside.  Then I combined the peanut butter and fluff together which I spread all over the top, drizzled on some chocolate and sprinkled on a few chopped up peanut butter cups.  Let me tell you this pizza is rich, but oh so good.  If you love chocolate and peanut butter this is the dessert for you!

Brown Sugar (Shortbread) Fruit Pizza

 

Fruit pizzas are usually made with a sugar cookie crust, but I honestly don't care for it. What I do care for is shortbread!  I love the rich buttery taste, how flaky it is and how it melts in your mouth.  My recipe has brown sugar in the shortbread and the cream cheese making this a decadent dessert.  It's very simple to make and you can top it off with whatever fruit you have on hand.  Drizzle a little extra icing on top and you have a quick, easy  and delicious dessert...I hope you enjoy!

Apple Pizza or Apple Pie? This dessert is a cross between the two of them. I really like apple pizza, but I'm not crazy about the doughy crust. So I took my favorite pie crust recipe and my apple pizza recipe and combined the two of them to make this delicious dessert!
