Popcorn Cake

This time of year we have a lot of birthdays going on and I'm always trying new recipes on the birthday boy/girl.  We all love popcorn so I decided to make a popcorn cake as a way to "ring in" all of their birthdays.  The kids loved that they could just tear off a piece and eat it, I loved that it didn't keep me in the kitchen and it was simple to make.  You can even customize it to your liking by adding chocolate chips, candy bars, gummy bears...anything you'd like!

Spooky Monster Marshmallow Treats

It's that time of year when children everywhere will be getting ready for Halloween and parents will be too! A perfect way to get started is stopping at Target to pick up some Monster Cereals featured in Retro Boxes.  You'll have to hurry because these are only offered for a limited time!  My husband loves these cereals and he couldn't wait to dig in.  There is Franken Berry, Count Chocula, Yummy Mummy, Frute Brute and Boo-Berry.

International Delight S'mores Cake

If you've been reading here long, you know that I love to do my part when it comes to helping others.  Recently I was asked to partner up with International Delight to raise awareness of their "Share your Delight" donation program. This program helps raise money to donate Winter Coats to children that need them.  All you have to do is register the UPC code from a specially marked bottle of International Delight®, Silk®, Horizon® or LAND O LAKES®.   For every UPC that you register, they will donate .50 cents to Operation Warm.   Pretty simple, huh?   Plus to make it even simpler, they are offering you a $1.00 off coupon to any Seasonal Creamer.  I was also asked as to how I use their Seasonal Creamers.  Of course I love them in my coffee (or straight out of the bottle!) and I also like to use them in recipes.  I think they're a simple way to add great flavor...here's what I came up with!
