This little machine is amazing and it's literally like having a coffee shop at your house.  We've made espresso, cappuccino, but my favorite are the lattes!  In a matter of minutes I get to have a delicious, creamy latte and save a lot of money by not buying them when I'm out.  The kids love the cappuccino and my husband loves the espresso.  I've even made these drinks with ground coffee and they turn out just as good!

Gourmesso Coffee

 

As you all know, I love my coffee!  I have no problem drinking it from the time I get up until the time I go to bed.  It's warm, comforting, and delicious but it has to be a good quality coffee.  As a first test to my Nespresso® machine I've decided to tried gourmesso coffee capsules, a new alternative to Nespresso® and they are divine!

Caramel Pecan Coffee Cake

I love coffee cakes, and I'm always looking for new recipes to try.  When I saw this Caramel Pecan Coffee Cake from Fleischmann's I knew I had to try it.  What first intrigued me was that it uses yeast in the batter.  Normally my coffee cakes don't use it, but this recipe does so I couldn't wait to see how it would turn out.  Plus you can actually mix this in the pan that you're going to bake it in, so that means not a lot of mess to clean up!  It uses every day ingredients found in your pantry and comes together in a matter of minutes.  I changed the one sugar to brown and also added in some vanilla, and it turned out delicious.  This will definitely be in my recipe box to make again.  I hope you'll give it a try too!

To say I'm a coffee lover is an under statement!  I get up at 5am every morning and as soon as my teeth are brushed I grab a cup of coffee.  I drink it throughout the day, and actually up until I go to bed at 11:30pm.   I just love the warm comforting feeling, and it tastes so good too!  Even if it's 100 degrees outside you'll find me drinking a cup of coffee.  My husband thinks I'm crazy, but my gram doesn't because she does the same thing, so at least I know where I get it from!  I recently tried Friendly's Ice Cream Flavored k-cups and I'm one happy camper because you get the subtle ice cream flavors without all the guilt!

If you ask my family they'll say I'm a coffee addict! I literally drink coffee from the time I wake up until the time I go to bed...and no, the caffeine doesn't keep me up!   There's just something about coffee that I love so much. I love having it piping hot in the morning, then I switch to iced coffee in the afternoon and then back to a hot cup or two before I go to bed.  I make my own iced coffee so I can control the calories and sugar...then I saw that International Delight made an Iced Coffee Light with 1/3 fewer calories.  I couldn't wait to try it!  Let me tell you, this is divine; it's rich, creamy and not too sweet.  Now all I have to do is go to the fridge, pour a cup and enjoy!
