Creamy Caramel Frosting Recipe

I absolutely love my readers!  I have met so many wonderful people over the years and have formed so many new friendships as well.  One of the things I love most are the recipes that you share with me, and the stories that go along with them.  I cherish each and every one!  So when I was talking to Stephanie before the holidays she mentioned that she had an amazing Caramel Frosting recipe that was given to her from her co-worker Mary Lou.  Well the holidays have come and gone and I am just now getting around to making it.  I am so happy that I did because it is delicious!

Peanut Butter Sheet Cake with Banana Frosting Recipe

An ode to Elvis Presley...a decadent peanut butter sheet cake 

lathered with a creamy banana frosting!

While thinking of flavor combinations the other I day I thought about Elvis Presley and how he loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches.  I've made a sandwich like that before and enjoyed it so I knew I liked the flavors.  At first I was going to make a banana cake with peanut butter frosting, but then I saw there were a million recipes like that already!  So I decided to flip it around and make a peanut butter cake with a banana frosting.  I'm happy to say that not only is it easy to make, but quite delicious too.  I think Elvis would be quite happy!
