Creamy-Peanut-Butter-Fudge-made-in-the-microwave

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge that's made in the microwave was the most viewed recipe in 2016 and I can see why.  This recipe is easy to make and it always turns out so creamy.  Even the novice chef can make Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge with confidence.

Creamy Caramel Frosting Recipe

Creamy-Caramel-Frosting-Recipe

I absolutely love my readers!  I have met so many wonderful people over the years and have formed so many new friendships as well.  One of the things I love most are the recipes that you share with me, and the stories that go along with them.  I cherish each and every one!  So when I was talking to Stephanie before the holidays she mentioned that she had an amazing Caramel Frosting recipe that was given to her from her co-worker Mary Lou.  Well the holidays have come and gone and I am just now getting around to making it.  I am so happy that I did because it is delicious!

If you'd like to share a story and/or recipe with me I would love to hear it; just send me an email.

Caramel Pecan Coffee Cake

caramel-pecan-coffee-cake

I love coffee cakes, and I'm always looking for new recipes to try.  When I saw this Caramel Pecan Coffee Cake from Fleischmann's I knew I had to try it.  What first intrigued me was that it uses yeast in the batter.  Normally my coffee cakes don't use it, but this recipe does so I couldn't wait to see how it would turn out.  Plus you can actually mix this in the pan that you're going to bake it in, so that means not a lot of mess to clean up!  It uses every day ingredients found in your pantry and comes together in a matter of minutes.  I changed the one sugar to brown and also added in some vanilla, and it turned out delicious.  This will definitely be in my recipe box to make again.  I hope you'll give it a try too!

Chocolate Caramel Halloween Squares

Milk Chocolate & Gooey Caramel Shortbread Squares...

Chocolate Caramel Shortbread Bars; flourmewithlove.com

One of our favorite combinations is milk chocolate and caramel!  There's something about the creamy milk chocolate and the gooey rich caramel that go together perfectly.  I'm always trying new recipes that incorporate the two of them and these Earthquake Squares do just that.  Since shortbread is another favorite of mine I decided to use that as the base, added the chocolate caramel sauce on top then a little bit of the shortbread as a crumble on top.  They're simple to make and they turned out delicious!

Apple Chips with Caramel Dip Recipe

Bake apple slices until nice and crispy
then dip them in a delicious and decadent caramel sauce.

apples, caramel, dip, chips, dessert, recipe

Dessert doesn't always have to be a cake or ice cream, it can be a delicious apple chip! The kids love apples, but sometimes they start to eat one, get distracted and when they get back to it, it's brown.  I'm not one to waste food so I decided to slice it up, toss it in vanilla, cinnamon and sugar then bake until crispy.  I thought they reminded me of chips so I made a caramel dip to go with them.  It was a different type of dessert that we'll be having quite often.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars Recipe

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars start with a shortbread nut crust, then creamy cheesecake
is swirled with seasoned apples and drizzled with a delicious caramel sauce!

Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars made with a walnut shortbread crust

If you like cheesecake and apple pie then you're going to love these Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars!  This recipe is a combination of the love my son has for cheesecake and the love my husband has for apple pie.  I decided to put the two together and make one scrumptious dessert.  For the crust I made a shortbread and added in some walnuts to add a little more depth to it.  Then you have your traditional cheesecake layer which is topped with apples and a little bit of reserved crust.  I made my favorite easy caramel sauce and drizzled it on top to make the perfect dessert!

Caramel Filled Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Creamy caramel sandwiched in between two buttery pretzels
then dipped in chocolate & covered in sprinkles!

Caramel, filled, chocolate, covered, pretzels, flourmewithlove

I love quick, simple and delicious desserts and these Caramel filled Chocolate Covered Pretzels are just that!  I started with a tub of caramel from Chocoley (let me tell you, this stuff is delicious...you'll have a hard time keeping your fingers out of it!)  I put a spoonful in between two buttery square pretzels then dipped them in milk chocolate and white chocolate.  I added some green sprinkles, some green sugar and also dyed the white chocolate green with some coloring oil.  I have to admit, these were one of the easiest desserts to make, but also one of the most delicious.  The combination of caramel and chocolate go together perfectly!  There are no real exact measurements, but I showed you the concept and you can make however many you choose.  I made mine green for St. Patrick's Day, but they would be pretty in all kinds of colors and sprinkles for any holiday!

Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake

Caramel, apples, cinnamon & sugar all blended into a cake that's turned upside down!

caramel, apple, upside, down, cake, cinnamon, sugar, dessert

There's something about caramel and apples...the sweetness of the caramel and the tartness of the apples; it's the perfect combination!  I also love upside down desserts so I decided to make this Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake.  It uses everyday ingredients that are found in your pantry and it's easy to prepare.  The caramel seeps into the cake, it's all sticky and gooey and is down right delicious!  If you're a caramel apple lover then make sure you try this Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake...it's love at first bite!

Caramel Apple Dumpling Dessert

flourmewithlove.com

My family loves apple dumplings, but sometimes it gets to be a pain making all of them.  I came up with a way to enjoy all the flavors without all the work.  I also wanted the recipe to be quick and easy so I decided to use canned crescent rolls.  This dessert tastes exactly like individual apple dumplings, but you'll be able to enjoy them in no time at all!

At my house, we are big popcorn fans!  We actually love it so much that I went out and bought a movie style popcorn popper.  This is by far one of the best investments I have ever made.  I get to make a big batch of fresh, delicious popcorn whenever I want...and believe me, I make it a lot!

Caramel & Chocolate Cracker Treats

This post brought to you by Hershey’s®. All opinions are 100% mine.

Warm weather is here and that means more time outside.  I love finding recipes that don't keep me in the kitchen a long time because I'd rather be having fun with the kids!  One of my favorite recipes is taking simple ingredients and then turning them into something scrumptious without a lot of fuss.  These Caramel and Chocolate Cracker Treats are just that...simple, delicious and so simple to make.  You start out with the new LANCASTER Soft Crèmes.  They offer Caramel, Vanilla & Caramel, and Vanilla & Raspberry.... they are soft, creamy and melt in your mouth!   If you'd like to try them, now is the perfect time because they're offering a .75 off coupon on one bag.  These little caramels are delicious own their own, however I like to kick things up a notch so I turned them into a super simple dessert that can be made in a matter of minutes.  Plus you can make as many or as little as you'd like.  This is the time to reimagine your caramel!

Take 5 Brownie Bars

One of our favorite candy bars are Take 5, however where I live, they are impossible to find!  I have looked in every major store, the gas stations, little mom & pop shops, but nope...no candy bars! I looked on the internet and there are quite a few others who have this problem too.  If everyone loves them then why are they so hard to find?  So the other day I was craving one, and of course we didn't have any, so I decided to come up with something on my own and they sure did hit the spot!

Apple(sauce) Spice Muffins with Penuche Frosting

There are so many wonderful people who share my recipes on Facebook and I am so grateful to all of you!  Whenever someone suggests a recipe I always try to get one made and hopefully they'll like it.  Recently Kevin, who shares my recipes all the time mentioned that he'd like something with Penuche.  Honestly, I had never heard of it so I had to look it up.  Once I did, I could see why he asked.  It's a mixture of butter, brown sugar and cream...what's not to love?  I finally came up with a recipe that I was happy with and I'm so excited to share it with all of you!

Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

The other day a friend asked if I had any recipes for bread pudding; I didn't and I was surprised that I hadn't made this before.  I'm not fond of soggy desserts so I'm sure this was part of the reason.  I decided I would give it a try, but I wanted to make one that uses simple ingredients that we all have on hand and it couldn't turn out soggy!  Since it's Fall I decided to turn it into a seasonal dish by adding some apples and a warm caramel sauce.  It turned out perfect and I look forward to making this a lot more!
