Savory Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

When I think of Palmiers, I usually think of sweet ones, but today I'm sharing something a little different; savory palmiers filled with spinach, cheese and pepperoni.  Palmiers are not hard to make.  You can use my homemade puff pastry, but to make it quick and easy, I used store bought found in the freezer section.  There are many flavor combinations you can come up with, but spinach, cheese and pepperoni make the perfect appetizer that everyone will enjoy!

Hot Spinach, Kale & Bacon Dip

This post is sponsored by Van’s Foods

Hot Spinach, Kale & Bacon Dip is simple, nutritious and delicious!

I love finding ways to incorporate more veggies into our meals, but I have to admit, spinach and kale are not on the kids' favorite list.  We have family fun nights all the time where we pick some movies and make all kinds of foods to enjoy while we're watching.  I had some spinach and kale so I decided to make a quick and easy dip that everyone would love.  This Hot Spinach, Kale & Bacon Dip came together quickly and uses a ton of fresh ingredients.  Once it was done I paired it with Van’s Simply Delicious® Fire-Roasted Veggie crackers to keep the veggie theme going.

Savory Cheese & Fig Tart Recipe

Savory cream cheese topped with a sweet fig preserve that's all wrapped up in a flaky dough!

Normally I share a lot of sweets on here, but today I'm sharing a savory tart that has just a hint of sweetness.  I love the combination of figs and cheese, and over the holidays I made a puff pastry, cheese and fig appetizer which turned out delicious.  The other day I was craving it, but I didn't feel like making puff pastry so I looked in the fridge, saw crescent rolls and decided to make tarts using the same concept.  This recipe only requires three ingredients and you can make it in a matter of minutes.  It's the perfect little bite to pop in your mouth and enjoy!

Baked Brie & Fig Spread

Baked Brie & Fig Spread; flourmewithlove.com

The holidays are among us and that means a lot of entertaining going on; the perfect time to be with family and friends.  I love to entertain and prepare lots of different dishes and bake tons of desserts.  This year I got to try the new Orchard Choice California Fig Spreads.  I must say, these are quite unique!  The fig flavor is delicious, they're not too sweet and they go well with anything.  I was actually eating mine straight out of the jar!  They are made with California figs, and they come in four different flavors.
