Savory Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

Spinach, Cheese & Pepperoni Palmiers

When I think of Palmiers, I usually think of sweet ones, but today I'm sharing something a little different; savory palmiers filled with spinach, cheese and pepperoni.  Palmiers are not hard to make.  You can use my homemade puff pastry, but to make it quick and easy, I used store bought found in the freezer section.  There are many flavor combinations you can come up with, but spinach, cheese and pepperoni make the perfect appetizer that everyone will enjoy!

The easiest Cheese Danish you'll ever make!

Cream cheese, crescent rolls and cinnamon sugar make a simple & delicious danish!

cream, cheese, cinnamon, sugar, crescent, rolls, breakfast, dessert

I love waking up the family with the smell of fresh baked pastries.  I'll make stuffed cinnamon rolls, no-yeast cinnamon sticky rolls, cinnamon roll coffee cake , scones... you name it, and I'll bake it!   Sometimes I don't have a lot of time so I like to make Cheese Danishes.  They are truly the simplest pastry you'll ever make!  All you have to do is pop open a can of crescent rolls, fill them up with sweetened cream cheese, crimp them shut, bake and enjoy!  We've also added in some preserves, nutella, fruit, even chocolate.  The combinations are endless and in a matter of minutes you'll have a scrumptious breakfast, brunch or dessert!

Baked Brie & Fig Spread

Baked Brie & Fig Spread; flourmewithlove.com

The holidays are among us and that means a lot of entertaining going on; the perfect time to be with family and friends.  I love to entertain and prepare lots of different dishes and bake tons of desserts.  This year I got to try the new Orchard Choice California Fig Spreads.  I must say, these are quite unique!  The fig flavor is delicious, they're not too sweet and they go well with anything.  I was actually eating mine straight out of the jar!  They are made with California figs, and they come in four different flavors.

Sonoma-Cutrer Wine with Dessert

Most of the time on my site I have delicious desserts, however there are times when my husband and I like to sit down enjoy the dessert and a glass of wine.  This is a time where we get to talk without interruption and reconnect with each other.  A wine we were recently introduced to is Sonoma-CutrerSonoma-Cutrer has been producing the finest quality wines since it opened as a vineyard company in 1973.  Its foundation is built in the hillsides and rocky foothills in the region recognized as the Sonoma Coast Appellation – this region experiences long, even growing seasons thanks to the cool, foggy coastal climate.  In the 70's, the company planted several different grape varieties and virtually overnight Sonoma-Cutrer’s Chardonnay grapes had gained a reputation for exceptional quality and were in high demand by many premium wineries.
