Apple Chips with Caramel Dip Recipe

Bake apple slices until nice and crispy
then dip them in a delicious and decadent caramel sauce.

Dessert doesn't always have to be a cake or ice cream, it can be a delicious apple chip! The kids love apples, but sometimes they start to eat one, get distracted and when they get back to it, it's brown.  I'm not one to waste food so I decided to slice it up, toss it in vanilla, cinnamon and sugar then bake until crispy.  I thought they reminded me of chips so I made a caramel dip to go with them.  It was a different type of dessert that we'll be having quite often.

Sticky Wings & Blue Cheese Popcorn

Sticky wing sauce and crumbled blue cheese baked into a delicious popcorn!

Ask my family and they will tell you my favorite snack is popcorn! I eat it so much that I went out and bought a standing movie style popper.  It makes the perfect popcorn and I'm always looking for new recipes to try.  The other day I was reading the paper when I saw this recipe for Sticky Wing and Blue Cheese Popcorn (by Diane Rossen Worthington)...I knew I immediately had to try it.  How can you resist sticky wing sauce and blue cheese, they're the perfect combination.  You can serve this for the big game, movie night or even a late night snack...it's delicious!

Cinnamon Roll Apple Dumplings with Caramel Sauce

Cinnamon Roll Apple Dumplings with Caramel Sauce

I am so excited about this recipe!  When coming up with new recipes, I always try to think of desserts that our family enjoys.  Apple dumplings and cinnamon rolls are definitely two of them.  So I thought why not combine them into one dessert; I did and they turned out wonderful!  I decided to use canned cinnamon rolls to make the preparation easy and the recipe simple.  To top them off, I made a rich creamy caramel sauce.  I loved how these came out and I'm glad that I thought of a new dessert to add to our collection :)  I hope you enjoy them too!
