Caramel Apple Dumpling Dessert

 

My family loves apple dumplings, but sometimes it gets to be a pain making all of them.  I came up with a way to enjoy all the flavors without all the work.  I also wanted the recipe to be quick and easy so I decided to use canned crescent rolls.  This dessert tastes exactly like individual apple dumplings, but you'll be able to enjoy them in no time at all!

Cinnamon Roll Apple Dumplings with Caramel Sauce

I am so excited about this recipe!  When coming up with new recipes, I always try to think of desserts that our family enjoys.  Apple dumplings and cinnamon rolls are definitely two of them.  So I thought why not combine them into one dessert; I did and they turned out wonderful!  I decided to use canned cinnamon rolls to make the preparation easy and the recipe simple.  To top them off, I made a rich creamy caramel sauce.  I loved how these came out and I'm glad that I thought of a new dessert to add to our collection :)  I hope you enjoy them too!

Blackberry Dumplings

We have lots of blackberry bushes!  We usually just pick them off the bushes and eat them, however this time my husband wanted dumplings.  So the deal was, if you pick them then I'll make them.  I made our favorite dough, filled it with sweetened blackberries and topped it off with some vanilla ice cream.  A perfect summer treat!
