If you have leftover pumpkin then you're going to love this delicious
Pumpkin Custard with Oatmeal Crumb & Cream Cheese Topping!

Every year it seems like I have pumpkin leftover.  I normally make pumpkin roll, but this year my daughter asked if I could make something different so I came up with this delicious Pumpkin Custard with Oatmeal Crumb and Cream Cheese Topping!  This is such a simple dessert and it only takes a few standard ingredients that you most likely have at home.  For the topping I made an oatmeal crumb and added a dollop of sweetened cream cheese.  You could also add whipped topping or even vanilla ice cream...simple & delicious!

Pumpkin Earthquake Cake

If you like earthquake cake, then you're going to love this Pumpkin Earthquake Cake
...it's simple and oh so delicious!

Pumpkin Earthquake Cake; Flour Me With Love

If you have never made an earthquake cake, you're missing out.  I was recently introduced to them and boy am I glad I was.  I made a Red Velvet one, a Chocolate Fudge one and now this pumpkin one.  I love how the cream cheese is gooey and seeps into the batter while the butterscotch chips melt perfectly into it too.  This cake is quite simple to make, but doesn't skimp on taste.  If you're looking for a quick, easy and delicious dessert to make this season then you'll definitely want to try this one!

Pumpkin Sheet Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

Thanksgiving is almost here and I have one more pumpkin recipe to share with you!  This recipe was given to me from my wonderful aunt.  She is one of the funniest people I know and has such a positive attitude.  She always looks at the glass half full as opposed to half empty.  It's an honor to be showcasing her recipe today and she is definitely what I'm thankful for this year!  This cake is very simple to make and it turns out delicious every time.  I hope you'll share it with your family this year.

Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!

The Best of 2012

This time of year I like to count down the top 10 recipes on Flour Me With Love.  The recipe that was viewed the most this year is my Apple Fritter Bread.  If you like apple fritters, but don't like to deep fry, then this bread is the perfect solution.  It has the taste and texture of an apple fritter without all the guilt!  The rest of the recipes are all delicious too.

I hope you enjoy!

Pumpkin Lofthouse Sugar Tarts with Maple Buttercream

I love lofthouse sugar cookies!  So I decided to make them into tarts, but not just any tarts...Pumpkin Tarts!  I took my recipe and instead of using the sour cream that's called for, I replaced it with pumpkin.  This gave the tarts just a subtle hint of pumpkin.  Then I topped them off with a maple buttercream frosting and sprinkled on a little cinnamon.  It all came together perfectly!  They're very simple to make and they turned out cute too :)

The Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake

The other day my sister and I were talking about her vacation to Las Vegas.  They have gone for quite a few years and she said there are so many things to do in Vegas that you would never get bored!  She also said they ate at The Cheesecake Factory.  I've never been to Vegas or The Cheesecake Factory, but hopefully one day I will :)  My husband's birthday is this week and being that he loves cheesecake I thought I would see what flavors they have to offer.  As soon as I saw the Pumpkin Cheesecake, I knew that was what I wanted to make!

The Best of 2011

It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone! Although I must say, it has been a wonderful one.  To celebrate I thought I'd count down the ten most popular posts of 2011.  There were some close calls as to which would end up in second, third and fourth.  However, the most popular post won by a landslide.  I hope you enjoy the countdown and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Cranberry & Pumpkin Scones

If you're like me, you always seem to have some cranberries left over from Thanksgiving and you're not quite sure what to do with them.  I also had some pumpkin leftover since I made the pumpkin crunch cake too.  So what to do with cranberries and pumpkin...how about scones?  These are not like a typical scone, they came out a little softer, like a muffin texture inside (maybe I should have called them muffin scones).  Instead of drizzling the icing on, I dunked the tops into it!  The perfect way to use up my leftovers!

Gingerbread Rolls with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting

This recipe is the perfect way to welcome the chilly weather.  It's a lightly sweetened gingerbread dough that I filled with pumpkin, brown sugar and butter.  Then to top it off I made a Pumpkin Cream Cheese Frosting!  It makes your house smell amazing and the best part about this recipe is that it starts with a mix!  I recently had the opportunity to try King Arthur's Gingerbread Cookie & Cake Mix and I'm so happy that I did.  Once I received the mix, I knew I didn't want to make cookies or cake, but something different.  After many days of contemplating I finally came up with this delicious recipe and I'm very pleased with the results.  The wonderful folks at King Arthur Flour are graciously offering one of you a mix as well!  All you have to do is leave a comment telling me what you're going to make.

Pumpkin Crunch Dessert Recipe

A little while back I asked what your favorite Fall recipe was.  Cydnee said her favorite was Pumpkin Crunch Cake and her boys insist on having it every Thanksgiving.  I've never heard of this cake before and it sounded very interesting.  So I asked if she'd like to share the recipe and her response was: Yes, I love sharing good recipes!   Believe me, it's a great recipe!  It's so simple and tastes so good.  It doesn't have the texture of cake, but more like a custard with a crunch top.  I look forward to having it many more times, especially for Thanksgiving!
