Don't throw away all those candy bars; you can turn them into rich and delicious cheesecake brownies! In the latest Halloween edition of the Taste of Home magazine there is a recipe that calls for your favorite candy bar not only in the cheesecake layer, but the brownies too. I had lots of candy bars so I couldn't wait to make these. They're simple to make, they use staple ingredients and they bake up in about half an hour. These are rich and delicious, so enjoy!

Take 5 Brownie Bars
One of our favorite candy bars are Take 5, however where I live, they are impossible to find! I have looked in every major store, the gas stations, little mom & pop shops, but nope...no candy bars! I looked on the internet and there are quite a few others who have this problem too. If everyone loves them then why are they so hard to find? So the other day I was craving one, and of course we didn't have any, so I decided to come up with something on my own and they sure did hit the spot!

No Bake Candy Bar Pie
Now that the warmer weather is here it's time to be outside playing soccer, baseball, or even football. You don't want to be worrying about dinner or dessert and with Game-Day Fan Fare you don't have to! This new Gooseberry Patch cookbook is filled with Kick-Off Brunches; Major League Munchies; Souper-Bowl Soups, Salads & Sandwiches; Slam-Dunk Mains & Sides; Touchdown Treats; and Stadium-Sized Recipes for a Crowd. The first recipe I tried is this no-bake candy bar pie. It only took a few minutes to make and it turned out delicious; I can't wait to try it with other candy bars. Game-Day Fan Fare has over 240 recipes, tips and inspiration to make sure your game day celebration is a home run! I'd love for you to own a copy and now you can. Gooseberry Patch is graciously offering a book to one of you and I'm adding a few goodies with it too...make sure you enter the contest below!
