The Best of 2012

This time of year I like to count down the top 10 recipes on Flour Me With Love.  The recipe that was viewed the most this year is my Apple Fritter Bread.  If you like apple fritters, but don't like to deep fry, then this bread is the perfect solution.  It has the taste and texture of an apple fritter without all the guilt!  The rest of the recipes are all delicious too.

I hope you enjoy!

Buckeye Brownie Bites

Buckeye brownies sure are a treat!  Although I don't like it when you cut into a brownie and it falls apart.  So to solve that, I made buckeye brownie bites!  Easy to eat, no falling apart and they look cute too.  You could use any brownie mix for the bottom, but I made a homemade one that is rich and chocolatey!  To top it off, I made a rich chocolate glaze.  I also thought they looked a little plain so I sprinkled on some shaved white chocolate!

Triple Layer Bars

The other night I was thinking about all the flavors that I like and decided to combine them into one dessert.  First there is a fudgy layer of brownie, then a decadent layer of cheesecake, and to top it off...cookie dough frosting (there's no egg in the frosting so it's perfectly safe to eat.)  It's so rich that you only need a little piece to satisfy the sweet tooth!

The Best of 2011

It's hard to believe that another year has come and gone! Although I must say, it has been a wonderful one.  To celebrate I thought I'd count down the ten most popular posts of 2011.  There were some close calls as to which would end up in second, third and fourth.  However, the most popular post won by a landslide.  I hope you enjoy the countdown and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

Almond Joy* Brownie Bites

Almond Joy* candy bars are a delightful little treat, but what happens when you're in the mood for one and you don't have any?  You make Almond Joy* Brownie Bites!  These are the perfect snack to take that craving away.  First there is a chocolate fudge brownie base that's topped with sweetened coconut.  Then drizzle on some chocolate, sprinkle on some almonds and it's perfect.   So simple and oh so delicious!
